Expanding from India to Singapore
Indian entrepreneurs and startups have been flocking to Singapore in recent years. Flipkart, Grofers, Capillary Technologies, Near, Mobikon, U2opia Mobile, and TonBo Imaging are some of the prominent Indian startups which have shifted their headquarters or set up operations in Singapore.
Besides Singapore’s favourable corporate tax rates and ease of doing business, other reasons for the migration include a tech-friendly market and access to expat talent.
Expansion into an unfamiliar market though, can bring about obstacles and questions Indian startups might be ill-equipped to tackle. That’s where InCorp Group comes into the picture.
Come November 14, In.Corp will be holding an information session for startups in Bangalore, India, in conjunction with regional media platform TechinAsia. Look forward to keynotes and panel discussions by industry experts from In.Corp, Singapore Economic Development Board and BlackPepper Technologies, as they share insights on fields such as incorporating a company and recruiting in Singapore.
