InCorp’s Group CFO Celine Ooi and Group COO Alton Neo were on a four-day Business Study Mission to Shanghai, China in August 2023. The trip was organized by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) to gain a deeper understanding of China’s business environment and potential for growth.
The objectives of this trip were to gather insights into economic developments, legal implications, accounting, and tax regulations in China. Additionally, the trip aimed to foster partnerships between Singaporean and Chinese businesses, create valuable connections, and broaden horizons through global collaboration.
Furthermore, this business trip provided numerous networking opportunities with Singapore businesses in Shanghai. This allowed for local knowledge exchange regarding the business landscape, investment opportunities, and cross-border collaborations.
