This programme is managed by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Enterprise Singapore.
What is the Tech@SG Programme?
The Tech@SG Programme is a company-focused scheme that provides company-level endorsement for qualifying companies to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Companies under this programme can expect to have reduced risks of rejections for their Employment Pass (EP) applications.
What Are the Benefits of the Tech@SG Programme?
Successful applicants can expect to obtain these key advantages:
- Up to 10 new EPs over the course of 2 years for foreign staff who will be employed as part of their business’ core team in Singapore
- Afterwards, coverage for the 1st renewal of each new EP gotten under the programme, valid for up to 3 years
Eligibility Criteria for Applying
The Tech@SG program sets distinct criteria for both the company and the individuals for whom you are seeking EPs (Employment Passes).

For Companies:
- The business entity needs to be officially registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) in Singapore.
- The company’s primary business product or service must center around digital or technology offerings, where the business model relies on proprietary hardware and software technologies, such as artificial intelligence or cybersecurity.
- The company has successfully obtained over US$10 million in cumulative investment funding within the last 36 months.
For Individuals:
- The applicant’s monthly salary satisfies the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) minimum prevailing EP salary requirement, which is set at a minimum of S$5,000.
- The applicant needs to successfully clear MOM’s background and due diligence examinations.
- The applicant must hold a senior team role (manager level or higher), which encompasses
- Core business functions such as business development, human resources, finance, partnerships, strategy, general management, and
- Core technical functions like product management, product development, software engineering, product design, and data science.
